The Canadian Corps fought in many battles in the Great War and two of its great victories were at Vimy Ridge and Passchendaele. During these battles the Canadians emerged as the British Empire's best fighting soldiers, and went on to later brilliant victories during the battles of the last 100 days of the war. In this section we recreate a day-by-day account of their two earliest victories, and the tremendous toll it took on the Canadian soldier.
